The plastic police (PCSOs) also known as Blunkett's bobbies, have been awarded the full 2.5% back-dated pay rise that has been denied to real police officers.
The PCSO's have no real powers - not even to arrest a suspect - are just uniformed civilians on the street. A show rather than a real policeman or woman. They serve no real purpose other than to been seen by the public, yet are being awarded a greater pay rise than those who do the job that needs to be done, and are actually trained to do it.
Remember that the next time a police officer saves your life, clears up the drunks on a weekend and works the awkward shifts that the PCSO's who knock off at 5.30 on the dot won't do.
We have many of them in our fine city here, they do the pr, shake hands with community leaders and look busy, but are they the same as real policemen and women?
Not in a million years!

Your govt. wouldn't be a leftie one if it didn't reward the useless and ignore the hard-working. Doing the opposite would be a strange concept to them.
