Sharon Shoesmith the slug in human form to keep her job.

Oh do I smell a cover up?....
Ministers have rejected calls for a review into the death of Baby P, which pointed to failings in Haringey child protection services, to be made public.

Michael Gove and David Laws, Tory and Lib Dem frontbenchers, wrote to Children's Secretary Ed Balls urging the internal review to be published.

But Mr Balls said confidentiality was vital to the success of such reviews.
Right. Keep it quiet so as to cover up the facts. Or in Ed speak "confidentiality was vital to the success of such reviews." - Got that far to important for you plebs, we know what is best.
In response, Mr Balls said the purpose of such reviews was "to learn lessons from what happened" and confidentiality was "fundamental to their effectiveness".
Bollocks, a cover up and nothing else but.
"This is not about keeping secret information which should rightly be in the public domain. I have been very clear about my commitment to public accountability in the Haringey case."
Yet there is not any public accountability.

Ed Balls shows yet again that he is a grade a cuntbubble. But he is not alone in his duplicity, indeed lets have a look at this for local authority back covering:
The jobs of George Meehan, the leader of the town hall, and Liz Santry, its cabinet member for children and young people, are at risk along with that of Sharon Shoesmith, who has faced several calls to quit as director of children's services since the tragedy came to light last month.
All well and good you would think. However this was the result:
Last week, the pair survived a call for a vote of no confidence after it was blocked by the majority Labour group in Haringey.

So lets see if I have this worked out properly. First up social services fail and a child dies, then despite calls for resignations the people in charge in that local authority are keeping their jobs. Thanks to elected officials covering up for them. Add to that we now have Piers Fletcher-Dervish, sorry Ed Balls telling us that the government take all of this seriously, so seriously that they will keep the reports into this secret from the public.

May I just point out that I for one am not happy that the facts are hidden from the very people who's taxes pay for the officials to be employed in the first place.

My Previous bit on Sharon Shoesmith, the slug in human form.

New Labour - "I want them all dead. I want their family's dead. I want their houses burnt to the ground. I want to go there in the middle of the night and piss on the ashes."

This is a government whom are so breathtakingly incompetent, you wouldn't trust them to tie a child's shoelaces for fear of them coming undone, and yet they're now lecturing us all on "learning the lessons from this".

Pity they didn't learn from the last cock-up from this God forsaken council, just a few years ago when the law was changed because of the Victoria Climbie incident, carried out a mere stones throw from where baby "P" was tragically slain.

Ed Balls - You know at the mention of the mans name, that somethings gonna be utterly fucked-up.

Yep, I just remembered as well that I have forgotten to add my Piers Fletcher-Dervish video to this bit.

This whole affair just so bad as they had the chance to correct the situation years ago and chose to do nothing.
