The National Debt Clock.

Gordon's pipe dreams fall apart.

Its all over for Gordon Brown the fat lady is singing.

Having not invested in proper jobs actually building stuff, instead New Labour spend billions on non jobs in the public sector staffing ministries of paper clip movers who wages are paid from tax receipts.

His dream of infinite credit based on never ending house price rises crashed an burned after he let the nation rack up a trillion pound debt in personal loans.

Throw a banking failure which he had been warned about many times - He had been warned about debt levels, trading of debt, banks over extending themselves etc etc -  over many years, now we see that glimmers of reality are coming to wake up PM James Gordon Brown.

Oh, plus God alone knows how many billions spunked up the wall in PFI/PPP arrangements that all need to be paid at some future date.

Gordon Brown’s promise to revive the economy by spending billions on building schools, hospitals and roads has suffered a major setback over the lack of private finance and the crippling effect of the recession.

The Times has learnt that projects worth billions of pounds and involving more than 100 schools and hospitals have been delayed or are on hold.

The Government is under pressure to inject more capital into the public sector to ensure that infrastructure projects providing thousands of jobs can go ahead.

In the autumn Alistair Darling, the Chancellor, promised that billions of pounds would be brought forward from future spending programmes to help bring Britain out of a recession. This month the Prime Minister promised to create 100,000 new jobs through public works projects.
Another pipe dream promise that Gordon had no intention of ever keeping, now shown that he also did not have the tax money to pay for it.

So who's fault is it this time Gordon? Americans, evil bankers, pixies, elves or maybe some big boys did it and ran away.

How long, O Cyclops, will you abuse our patience? How long is that madness of yours still to mock us? When is there to be an end of that unbridled audacity of yours?

Labour & their champagne swilling backers all part of a nomenklatura supporting a leader out of touch with reality.

He'll hang on in there till he has to call an election.

Something really drastic has to happen now or we're stuck with him for months to come.

We need a revolt, or some Labour minister to plant a bomb in his bunker...
