To broke even for a drink in order to drown our sorrows.

As comrade Cyclops continues his drive to bankrupt the UK and give our currency parity with Zimbabwe, the true costs of his policies are hitting home as people are to broke to drink.
Spending on alcohol has fallen by a record amount during the recession.
The Office for National Statistics revealed that sales of wine, spirits and beer dropped by 6.6 per cent in 2009 - the largest slump since it began reporting the figures in 1965.
The fall was prompted in part by an unprecedented crash in wages. These fell by 0.5 per cent in 2009, the first time the figure has declined on an annual basis since the ONS records began.
Its report yesterday showed that spending on alcohol tumbled to £12.8billion in 2009 from £ 13.7billion in 2008.
Spirits consumption slid 4.5 per cent, wine 7.7 per cent, and beer sales fell 7.1 per cent.
The figures do not cover sales of drinks in pubs, restaurants and hotels, where revenues fell 4.8 per cent - the most since 1991.
Wine and Spirits Trade Association spokesman Gavin Partington said: 'No other product has been subjected to a 25 per cent tax rise over the past two years, during the worst recession in a generation.'

So no job, the house has been repossessed by the bank and millions see a bleak future under the communists of New Labour; so bleak they can not even afford to cry into a beer of an evening.

That is assuming they can even find a local pub that still has it's doors open, as they are closing at a rate of over 30+ a week.

Tough on OAP's, tough on the causes of OAP's.

The law is a total and utter arse.
Her offence was to unwittingly sell a goldfish to a 14-year-old boy taking part in a trading standards 'sting'.
At most, pet shop owner Joan Higgins, 66, expected a slap on the wrist for breaking new animal welfare laws which ban the sale of pets to under-16s.

Instead, the great-grandmother was taken to court, fined £1,000, placed under curfew - and ordered to wear an electronic tag for two months.

The prosecution of Mrs Higgins and her son Mark is estimated to have cost taxpayers £20,000 and has left her with a criminal record.

Mark, 47, was also fined and ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work in the community.

I wonder if they are as tough on every criminal, or just those they can make an example of?

Oh but wait, no matter how bad or plainly unfair the law may be, there will always be someone to defend it:
Defending the goldfish case, Iain Veitch, head of public protection at Trafford Council, said: 'The evidence presented for this conviction clearly demonstrates that it is irresponsible to sell animals to those who are not old enough to look after them.
'Let this conviction send out a message that we will not tolerate those who cause unnecessary suffering to animals. The council will always try to support pet and business owners so that they are able to care for their animals properly, but where they continually ignore the advice they are given, we will not hesitate to use our statutory powers.'
Clearly a case of rules are rules and we will enforce them no matter what. Iain sounds like the sort of chap who twitches his curtains, looking for people putting the wrong sort of rubbish into the wrong bin. Iain I think is a sad sexual inadequate and lonely underpant sniffer, who no doubt gets a very small bulge in his stained underpants at the thought of bossing about the little people who pay his wage.

As for the crap about "continually ignore the advice they are given", when was that? She sold a goldfish, singular, in a sting operation organised by the council. No way does that justify thousands of pounds of public money to be spent in taking her before the courts.

If I had the cash I would be on a flight out of this hellhole land tomorrow.

For fucks sake drag your arse out and vote, else we get stuck with McCyclops.

Otherwise that mono eye'd, pant pissing, bullying, using his family for political pr along with his dead baby, nokia phone throwing, fat arsed, inept waste of his parents sperm and egg will be stuck in No.10 like some fossilized turd lodged on the inside of a toilet pan; the cunt.
The Queen could step in and block a second General Election this year in the event of a hung Parliament, to prevent Britain spiralling into an economic crisis.
Her action would force parties to work towards a coalition government rather than having to go to the polls again for a decisive result.
It raises the possibility that Gordon Brown could remain as Prime Minister of a minority government.
Mr Brown would stay in Number 10 until he resigns, Whitehall sources say.
And officials who have held detailed discussions with the Queen's private secretary, Christopher Geidt, say it would be up to Mr Brown to decide when to go.
Even if the Tories are the largest party, but fail to secure a Commons majority, Mr Brown would have the right to make the first attempt to soldier on by coming to an arrangement with smaller parties.
The Queen's potential involvement-which is allowed under ancient conventions, has emerged in behind-the-scenes preparations in Whitehall.

Barry Sheerman MP is a disgrace in a civilised society, as well a spawn of satan and a scum sucking pig.

Oh dear, the Rt Hon. scum sucking pig has made a total twat of himself again and so over to Diary of a Geek who rips his ill gotten tractorstats apart.
Barry Sheerman MP has decided, apparently, that motorcyclists are the spawns of Satan and our choice of transportation is "disgraceful in a civilised society."

In a typically Labour attack of dishonesty, he tosses in a dash of inaccurate figures and, in a spasm of textual twattishness, describes those of us who use two wheels as 'widow-makers and orphan-makers'.
Hmmm. Really?
In 2007 there were 2946 deaths on British roads. 49% of those were in cars, 20% motorcyclists. So that's 1,444 deaths chalked up to four wheels and 589 to two. So the true widowmakers and orphan-makers are, by almost three to one, those who irresponsibly and with malice aforethought, drive cars.
in the same year, 646 pedestrians** were killed in road accidents. Therefore, the widowmakers and orphan-makers are those who dangerously, and without care and thought, walk on British streets.
Oh, and just as an additional point, he claims that 650 bikers die per year and that the number is rising, when in fact 589 lost their lives in 2007 and 493 in 2008 - which is a drop of almost 20 per cent. Labour's statistical massaging strikes again...
Actually, I would say the truest widowmakers and orphan-makers are those who voted, strongly, to send British troops into action in Iraq.
Now lets not forget this is the very same Barry, who claimed that MP's were getting a bad press over our being upset at their theft from our back pockets.
“You are making me very angry because you haven’t said one good thing about parliamentarians, the hard work we put in!”

Adding
“Come on! Please! Say something good about our colleagues.”

Oh it breaks my heart, well no, especially as Barry has been helping himself to our money. How well a look at his expenses, shows that he claims our cash for his utility bills, like us to cover his free food or rather food paid for by us via the food allowance, oh an we cover his council tax all paid for by YOU.

Oh and look at this, the lazy sod has have been ripping into our pockets for cleaning as he is to damn lazy to shove a hoover about the office.(PDF)

Oh Barry also helps himself to mortgage interest and regular service charges(not sure if that is MP talk for employing a rentboy or Thai ladyboy on expenses)

So lets have a look at the Rt Hon. Barry Sheerman MP, he voted to keep his greedy paws on the 2nd home allowance. He also voted for detaining folk with a dusky skintone for 42 days.

This fine upstanding member also voted with cyclops Brown against letting in the Gurkha's.

Now he claims that motorcyclists are a disgrace, well If that is an example of the "hard work" Barry is putting in, then I for one want my money back.

Gordon's new citizens.

From Big Brother Watch
Here at Big Brother Watch we have been highlighting the problem of schools fingerprinting their students for several months.
The issue first came to our attention when a father in Hove approached Big Brother Watch worried about a scheme in his son's school. We tipped off the local journalist and the school then cancelled their plans. Soon after, a local politician contacted us to promote her own campaign against the use of biometric technology in schools.
This morning the issue has finally gained nationwide recognition after a debate at the Association of Teachers and Lecturers' annual conference in Liverpool yesterday:
Schools are denying pupils their civil liberties by fingerprinting them without seeking the consent of their parents, teachers warned yesterday.

Around 80 secondary schools have introduced a new method of scanning the thumbs of pupils as part of a biometric system to replace swipe cards for registration, library book borrowing and cashless catering for school meals. The use of fingerprinting comes despite fears – acknowledged by the Information Commissioners' Office – that some parents believe the practice leads to children being "treated like criminals".
There are several reasons why the fingerprinting of children should be opposed. Once this sort of data is handed over, it can never be taken back and schools are simply not equipped to hold biometric data. But our greatest fear is that these schemes are anesthetising future generations to the surveillance state; bringing up children who place little value on the integrity of their unique identifying characteristics.
The Information Commissioner's Office states: "There is nothing explicit in the [Data Protection] Act to require schools to seek consent from all parents before implementing a fingerprinting application. However, unless schools can be certain that all children understand the implications of giving their fingerprints, they must fully involve parents in order to ensure that the information is obtained fairly."

It added that "any use of biometric technologies outside law enforcement" should bear in mind the perception that it stigmatised those having their fingerprints taken.

MP expenses whitewash.

They can still employ relatives and make a profit from their properties you help fund.
The new expenses watchdog trampled over public opinion yesterday by allowing MPs to continue employing their wives and children.

The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority announced that MPs' expenses would be slashed by up to £16,000 after the General Election.

But the authority was accused of undermining public trust in the new scheme by allowing relatives to continue cashing in at taxpayers' expense.

Some 59 per cent of the public who responded to a consultation on the rules opposed the employment of MPs' wives, with only 22 per cent in favour.

But IPSA chief Sir Ian Kennedy dismissed the concerns, admitting he had put the 'quality of the argument' advanced by grasping MPs before those who warned about 'the possibility of abuse'.*

*Translation, we consulted you but you can fuck the fuck off if you think we are going to listen to you smelly plebs.

The IPSA also risked widespread criticism by watering down proposals to force MPs to hand back capital gains made on taxpayer-funded second homes.
A report by Sir Christopher Kelly, the Commissioner on Standards in Public Life, had called for the clawback to be retrospective and begin last November.
But the IPSA ruled that only gains made after August 2010 will be seized, effectively giving MPs a window of opportunity to sell their homes and cash in before the clawback begins.
The decision to allow MPs to employ family members was met with dismay by Sir Christopher, who had originally called for the ban, and Commons Speaker John Bercow, who had publicly endorsed a prohibition on wives.

Vote them all out, time to clean house and start again.

Rt Hon. Kevan Jones MP, the new Labour scum sucking pig in attacks on Joanna Lumley.

The New Labour smear tactics are still going strong.
Gordon Brown apologised to Joanna Lumley yesterday for what she called a smear campaign by one of his ministers over her championing of the Gurkhas.

Kevan Jones had attacked the actress's 'deathly silence' on the Nepalese soldiers' welfare since she forced a government climbdown over their right to settle in the UK.

At a press conference yesterday Miss Lumley, 63, vehemently denied that she had misled the Gurkhas or raised false expectations of a better life in Britain.

Fifteen minutes before she was due to speak Mr Jones, the Veterans Minister, apologised publicly for his comments earlier this month.

Miss Lumley said the Prime Minister had also apologised to her.

The actress last year forced ministers to change the law to allow older Gurkhas who have served Britain to settle here.

But Mr Jones said veterans had been given misleading information about the benefits and support they would receive. He said Miss Lumley had failed to explain the rules to them.

He told the Home Affairs Committee on March 9: 'Her deathly silence, frankly, irritates me.'

Frankly this sack of shit breathing irritates me.
Mind this is a government that could not even work out a guess for how much letting the Gurkha's settle in the UK would cost.

The committee was told that the Government’s own (guess)estimate of the cost of allowing all Gurkha veterans to settle could be one third of the figure quoted by ministers. Martin Salter, the Labour MP for Reading West, said the estimates ranged from between £425 million to £1.6 billion.

Between £425 - £1.6 billion, bejesus can they not even work out a figure say to the nearest million quid? What the fuck is that, back of the fag packet maths? A guess, a stab in the dark, did they pick it out of the air?

Seriously can you believe that. Go to any company for a quote on anything and they will work out a figure for you. Yet these loons can't even do that.

How impressed would you be upon putting the car in for an MOT, that the quote was £1000, oh maybe it's £400, or maybe £50. Dunno mate have to get back to you on that.

Kevan Jones, a junior Defence Minister, said the next Gurkha campaign would be a demand for equal treatment on pensions, which would require a one-off payment of £1 billion and £500 million annually.

Sure about that Kevan are you? Did you dream those figures up as well or are they based on some factual working out on the back of a fag packet? Maybe they came to him in a vision on a mountain top, sorry forgot New Labour don't do God.

Then based on probable fag packet maths they mumble threats about the future of the Gurkhas.

Further financial demands could jeopardise the future of the Gurkha regiment, he said. “We want to ensure that we can continue to recruit to the brigade of Gurkhas. If that becomes unjustifiable we will have to balance that against other commitments to other regiments.”
He said that a deadline of the parliamentary recess, the end of July, had been set for the Government to come up with a new package after last week’s Commons defeat.

On and on the vile New Labour communists go, with their attacks on anyone who dare oppose them.

Lastly it is unrelated but shows their attitude in that left wing lovvie and New Labour spineless running dog and actor Patrick Stewart picks up an honor in the New Years list, for his fawning over Gordon an yet Joanna gets not a mention.... Strange that.
.

Just because the snot munching PM Gordon is a cunt.

Well done to Cold Steel Rain for this gem.
.

The NHS safe in Gordon snot covered hands? Not likely.

A patient desperate for a drink of water had to telephone the switchboard of the hospital he was being treated in to beg to see a doctor.
Derek Sauter, 60, used his mobile phone to request medical attention after his pleas for help were ignored.
But when the doctor arrived he was turned away by ward nurse Caroline Lowe, who said Mr Sauter was 'over-reacting' and threatened to confiscate his phone.

Eight hours later the grandfather-of-three, who was suffering with a chest infection, was dead.
Rather than offering sympathy to Susan, Mr Sauter's wife of 41 years, Miss Lowe later told her that he could have been prosecuted for harassing the doctor on call.
Yesterday his daughter, Ruth Sauter, 42, said she was appalled at the way her father, a former administrator for the Healthcare Commission, the former NHS watchdog, had been let down by the NHS.

Billions wasted on the NHS and yet this poor man dies for want of a glass of water.
.

And just after Brown claims crime was down....

It would seem that the good news has not reached outside the Downing Street bunker.
Serious assaults which left victims needing hospital treatment have soared over the past year, dealing a huge blow to Labour's insistence that violent crime is falling.

Stretched Accident and Emergency departments were forced to treat five badly injured victims of violent attacks every hour.

Ministers have highlighted figures from the British Crime Survey - a poll of 40,000 households - showing the number of assaults is on the wane.

But information compiled by NHS Trusts, which measures the number of injuries which required hospital treatment, show a leap of more than 3 per cent.

Figures obtained by the LibDems show that between December 2008 and November 2009 there were 43,446 patients treated for assault.

Of these 27,064 - or two in three - took place in the Government's Tackling Knives Action Plan areas, where police are supposedly targeting loutish behaviour.

The injuries requiring hospital treatment range from knife attacks and glassings to beatings.

Which does raise the question of how many people who are attacked don't bother to report that to the police, thinking that the feral scrote will not be caught?

Yet more New Labour pledge cards.

Oh go on then just a few more....

He must be who else could ruin an economy in just over a decade.
A little bit of shameless self promotion there.
One day the truth of his mental problems will come out...
.

Some New Labour pledge cards.

I could not miss out on all this Cyclops Mc'Snotty bashing, and so...
as well as claiming to have saved the World.
Here we see him as he so often claims, working for hard working families and getting on with the job.
Said nothing in any of their election pledges about opening the flood gates and letting in millions of benefit drawing barbarians into the UK.
Although, maybe I am getting to hard on the man, after all what can you say about a PM who is caught tucking into his nose pickings live on TV?...
.

The New Labour communists pledge cards.

from GOT and also The Red Rag who has also got the shifty one eye'd snot eating, pant pissing, Obama fawning window licking hoon nailed.
Gordon must be removed.

Reasons not to vote for James Gordon McSnotty.

Oh and he pissed away our gold reserves, the cunt.

So who is in Unite then?

What with Unite giving us another round of strikes, my attention was pointed to this list of MP's who are in Unite and a comment by my inept and decrepit aged MP Paul Flynn

New Labour lies over immigration.

Whilst the snot munching nokia throwing, overweight banana eating Prime Mentalist claims that the number of illegals, scroungers and assorted jihadist fucknuts is falling; it turns out his figures are wrong.

But it has now emerged Mr Brown's claims were produced by using two completely different sets of statistics which should not be compared. In fact, analysis suggests he is likely to have underestimated the net level of immigration to the UK last year by more than 35,000.
That would make the total figure for 2009 more than 20,000 higher than in the previous 12 months. Sir Andrew Green, chairman of Migrationwatch UK, said Mr Brown's podcast had used 'misleading figures'. He added: 'The net immigration figure for the calendar year 2009 could well show an increase, not a fall. So the PM has got his immigration numbers seriously wrong.'
The controversy stems from a detailed passage in yesterday's podcast - which was itself a response to canvassers reporting deep public unhappiness with Government immigration policies.
Anyway back in the real world even when they do kick them out for being a bit light fingered, they can come back in as easy as anything.

A one-man crimewave from Algeria who has twice been deported from Britain is facing jail after being arrested near one of his favourite hunting grounds.
To the Home Office's huge embarrassment, prolific bag snatcher Hakim Benmakhlouf was detained by police at Heathrow Airport after slipping back into the country.
The father- of-two, who has a string of convictions for stealing from rich tourists at five- star hotels and airports, was confronted by officers after being spotted on CCTV.
The UK Border Agency is to launch an inquiry into how Benmakhlouf, who has 12 aliases, was able to make a mockery of Britain's border controls yet again.
The 28-year-old, was first thrown out in July 2007 when, while serving a three-and-a-half year prison sentence for theft, he was given £3,000 by the Government to be released early and fly home to his native Algeria.

So he carries out crimes, then this worthless shower of shit in Government use more of our money to pay him to fuck off and el-fucking-surprise he comes back for some more light fingered shopping.

I wonder if Gordon will be mentioning that on one of his gurning podcasts, or will the one eyed cunt claim all is well in Soviet Britain?

Don't even bother turning up for the World Cup, England, your fucked.

From GOT:

The  snot munching Prime Mentalist signs a giant England shirt that is travelling around the country before it is sent to the World Cup in South Africa this summer.
At a stroke the chances of England winning the World Cup have just been flushed down the toilet by the curse of Jonah Brown.
.

MP's and the elite still grabbing your cash.

First up we have Geoff Hoon who claims he is just like anyone working his notice. 'Anyone about to leave one job, not surprisingly, would use their knowledge, their experience, their skills drawn from their previous positions to try and earn a living in the future.
'That is actually what happens in all interviews and I don't think that I was in a different position from anyone else who leaves or loses a job and is thinking of moving on to another.'
In the sting, Mr Hoon said he was using his unpaid Nato role to drum up lucrative work, claiming it had provided insights commercially valuable to the arms industry.
He said a recent trip to Washington had involved three days work for Nato followed by 'a couple of days of Hoon work'.

Whilst this chap has to repay his ill gotten gains. The former head of the Commons standards watchdog was ordered today to hand back £28,000 in expenses he claimed for a second home that he used as a love nest to meet his mistress.
Tory MP David Curry received allowances for the property in Yorkshire despite spending the night there only 'very rarely' between 2005 and 2009, an investigation found.
The Standards and Privileges Committee also concluded that he had breached rules by failing to change the designations of homes during a period when he had separated from his wife in 2004.
Mr Curry stopped staying at the property, where he had entertained his mistress Cherry Edwards, as part of the terms of a 2005 reconciliation with his wife, Anne.

None of the MP's we have deserve to sit in The Common's, instead if we had a justice system they would be sitting in a police cell.
